More MSPA Speculation: Squiddle Gijinka

Squiddle Girls from the official Squiddles Animation. For whatever reason, the MSPA forum admins wanted fans to keep mum about the squiddle girls' existance. The art and music team seem pretty reluctant to explain it, too. They are also hidden in static, despite seeming to have more in common with the cutesy squiddles cartoon than with the horrorterrors that the squiddles represent.

The Squiddle Girl from the album art of Ocean Stars Falling., a remix of the squiddles song Ocean Stars. Though her style of dress is different from the magical girl outfits of the squiddle girls mentioned above, she shares their tentacle hair and extra eyes at the top of her head. The song she illustrates sounds neither cute (like the saccharine squiddles) nor malevolent (like the horrorterrors). I'm not sure what this means.

I think the in-universe squiddles cartoon and its irl paraphernalia will become canonically relevant. Why would it be a spoiler, for example, to tell which character Skipper Plumbthroat represents if he's not meant to correspond to a "real" character in Homestuck? And what on earth does this quote mean?
